Financial Overview of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research

Where Does the Money Go?

The FPWR spends nearly all of its income directly on research grants. Each grant in 2007 is planned to be allocated $50,000, and just under 80% of money raised goes directly to funding grants.

The following chart shows how the FPWR allocated expenses in 2006:

A financial audit is planned for 2006 financial statements. Meanwhile, un-audited financial reports show estimated revenues for 2006 to be $429,000, with $210,000 going toward program expenses (funding research).  Please contact Tom Compere, Chair of the FPWR finance committee, with any additional questions.
